Ryah Skye Thompson, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004. She was 18 months old.
Ryah arrived to this world minutes before her twin Race, on May 23, 2003 at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital in Stanford. During her short, sweet stay she brought great joy to those who knew her. She was full of love, wonder, curiosity and mischief.
In her quieter moments Ryah enjoyed lounging on the couch with her two brothers, watching her favorite shows, JoJo’s Circus, Blues Clues and Clifford the Big Red Dog. At bedtime she refused to go to sleep without her white fringe pillow.
She loved shoes – trying them on, stealing them, and even eating them. Most often she was filled with boundless energy and loved to dance to Wiggles, play outside and go on long walks to the park. We will forever miss our bunny.
She is survived by her parents, Scott and Yvonna Thompson; older brother Adam, twin brother Race; paternal grandmother, Patricia Thompson; maternal grandparents, Adnan (Eddie) and Ibtihaj Ghazaleh; and her nanny Shona Hyslop.
In her memory a private burial and open house were held Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at the Gilroy home of her parents. In addition, her loving family, friends and neighbors have made donations to place a memorial bench at her burial place.
