Somebody has to say it: you can’t be a Catholic and support abortion

Dear Editor,
Since the legalization of abortion in this country in 1973,
45,616,377 deaths have occurred. If this number of killings is not
disturbing to you, then why should the holocaust or any other war
since then bother you?
Dear Editor,

Since the legalization of abortion in this country in 1973, 45,616,377 deaths have occurred. If this number of killings is not disturbing to you, then why should the holocaust or any other war since then bother you?

The anniversary of this tragic event in the history of this country just passed us again a few days ago. In San Francisco recently, the pro-lifers numbering 8,000 and from every walk of life regardless of their religious belief rallied in support of the movement to bring this bitter truth to the surface again.

They did, however, encounter the opposition. The pro-choice (death) groups that showed up numbered about 4,000 and were led by the one and only San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. Mayor Newsom, a Catholic Christian, was there along with some of his gang of SF supervisors to inform the pro-lifers that SF is his town and it is a pro-choice (death) city and that the pro-lifers have no right to come to his town and shove their beliefs down his throat.

Just one note for Mr. Newsom: You can’t be a Catholic and pro-abortion.

If you support abortion in such open environment as the March for Life rally, you have publicly announced your belief and placed yourself outside of the communion with the church teaching thus no longer worthy of receiving communion or being a Catholic – period.

Now, I’m sure what I have said here is going to anger a lot of you but someone needs to bring this to your attention. You certainly are not going to hear this from the proper sources (so-called church authorities) these days. No sir. Our churches are too busy these days breaking church laws and creating their own little empires.

To be silent toward this atrocity is to be in favor of it. Religious or not, science has proven the existence of life from the moment of conception in a mother’s womb. Aborting this life at any stage of existence is killing that life thus making the providers, supporters and the committed all guilty of murder. We need to support Norma McCorvey (Roe) in her effort to overturn the 1973 Supreme Court Roe vs. Wade decision. Norma has a Web site if you’re interested in getting to know the women behind Roe. It’s ROENOMORE.org. Did you know that she did not have the abortion after all?
