It could be you

The San Jose Earthquakes are looking for “Player 29” – one lucky fan who will get to sit on the sidelines of the Major League Soccer team’s season opener against the New England Revolution on April 2 at Spartan Stadium in San Jose.

Once selected, Player 29 will participate in a special signing ceremony with Quakes president and GM Alexi Lalas, receive a game jersey including the fan’s name and number, get introduced along with the rest of the team on the field and watch the game from a special bench seating area.

Earthquakes season-ticket holders as of Feb. 28 are automatically entered in the sweepstakes to be Player 29, while fans can also enter to win online at the Web site (www.sjearthquakes.com).
