Give Blood, Give Life

American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Thursday, March 10, from 1:30 to 6:30pm at First Baptist Church, 8455 Wren Ave. in Gilroy.

To donate blood you must be 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 lbs. and be in general good health. American Red Cross volunteer blood donors are required to provide identification before donating blood. Preferred identifiers include a government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license, or a Red Cross blood donor card. Otherwise, two other forms of ID are needed.

Starbucks Coffee Company, announced the launch of the 2005 Grants for Giving Program.

All groups considered must be registered 501(c)3 eligible non-profit organizations with programs or projects designed to build better futures for youth and families.
