Enjoyed PRIDE 2005 article, but don’t forget about Rebekah Children’s Services

Dear Editor,
We want to thank Martin Cheek for his informative article
highlighting adoption that was in the 2005 PRIDE section of the
Dispatch Tuesday.
Dear Editor,

We want to thank Martin Cheek for his informative article highlighting adoption that was in the 2005 PRIDE section of the Dispatch Tuesday.

In addition we would like to inform Dispatch readers about Rebekah Children’s Services Family Linkage Adoption Program which was left off of the listing of local and state adoption agencies. In fact Family Linkage Adoption is the only Gilroy based adoption agency in the state (other agencies can serve families in Santa Clara County, but are based out other cities). Families interested in adopting from the foster care system should also be informed that adopting from the foster care system is cost free, support is available until the child is 18-years-old, and there are approximately 20,000 children of all ages throughout the state of California who are looking for an adoptive home. Anyone interested in finding out more information can contact Family Linkage Adoption at (408) 846-2119 or www.rcskids.org.

Editor’s note: Our apologies, Rebekah’s is a wonderful, caring organization.
