Gilroy – For the next two Wednesdays, Gilroy residents can participate in a workshop about improving and maintaining quality neighborhoods.

Next Wednesday, March 30, attendees will learn the importance of involving youth in neighborhood activities, and how to get them involved. Light refreshments will be provided, and those who attended during the past two weeks will receive a certificate of recognition from Mayor Al Pinheiro.

The workshops are in the Gilroy Senior Center, 7371 Hanna St., from 5:45 to 7:30pm.

E-Voting panel meets in April

Gilroy – A panel of experts hosted by Congressman Mike Honda, (D-San Jose), will delve into the pros and cons of electronic voting during an April 4 session at Santa Clara University.

The panel will meet from 7 to 9pm at the university’s Mayer Theater, 500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara.
