Greeting

149370~Greetings from a Gilroy soldier in Iraq—Dear
Editor,
Yesterday was one of those days when a soldier says to
himself

thank God I’m still here.

I was on a convoy headed on a mission, when 20 minutes later our
vehicle got hit with an I.E.D (improvised explosive device).
Jorge,

Never has there been a moment that I have not thought of the danger that you encounter daily. To actually read that you have gone thru this scares me, but I can only say that I pray, pray every day my brother that you are protected.

Rest assure that your family, your fiance, your city Gilroy is very proud of you!!! You continue serving this country, you and your fellow soldiers have my utmost respect and I salute each and every one of you.

Love you and miss you!!!

Norma, Timmy, Emma Galvan
