Los Panchos comes to area

at 7:30pm at the Henry J. Mello Center for the Performing Arts
in Watsonville.
The California Latino Arts Network and El Teatro Campesino will present the Mexican Bolero Trio, “Los Panchos” at 7:30pm at the Henry J. Mello Center for the Performing Arts in Watsonville. The trio, Gaby Vargas Aguilar, Taurino Vargas Aguilar and Jaime Islas Miranda is performing in Watsonville as part of a five-day tour of Northern California and the Central Valley, which includes shows in Sacramento, San Jose, and Fresno.

The original Los Panchos trio formed in 1944. Throughout their 40-year career, Los Panchos recorded more than 2500 songs on 200 albums. The current trio came together in 1994, and has recorded several CDs.
