The Gilroy High water polo team had a tough time matching up
with perennial powerhouse Live Oak.
The Mustangs lost their second TCAL game of the season 20-4 at
home Tuesday.

The Mustangs lost their second TCAL game of the season 20-4 at home Tuesday.

Scoring Gilroy’s goals were Austin Gubrud, Scott Castruita, Daniel Shields and Mitch Barnett.

Last weekend at the Independence 76-er Tournament at Lincoln High School, the ‘Stangs fared better. The team went 2-2 for a fourth place finish, beating Silver Creek and Homestead and losing to Wilcox and Woodside.

Overall, Gilroy is 4-7 and 1-2 in TCAL.

The boys and girls squads will both host Stevenson High School on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at the Gilroy H.S. Pool
