A thief or thieves stole an iPod car adapter valued at $79 and “ugly” silver quilted flat shoes valued at $20 from the Gilroy Premium Outlets, between 3 and 7:15 p.m. Dec. 27.

A thief or thieves entered an unlocked white 2003 Ford F15 on First Street and stole a phone valued at $100, a check book and a credit card, 7:48 a.m. Dec. 19.

A thief took a woman’s wallet out of unlocked vehicle near Church and Fifth streets, 12:03 p.m. Dec. 20.

A thief took a cell phone valued at $207 from an undisclosed location on 10th Street, 10:41 a.m. Dec. 24.

A thief attempted to push a full cart of groceries of out a store on First Street without paying, 12:56 p.m. Dec. 25. When confronted by security, the thief abandoned the cart in the parking lot and fled in a green 2000 Dodge.

A thief or thieves removed a license plate from a vehicle on Wren Avenue, between 6 p.m. Dec. 26 and 1:46 p.m. Dec. 27.

A thief walked out of a store on First Street with $60 worth of groceries without paying for them, 8:55 p.m. Dec. 27.

A thief or thieves took a backpack with emergency supplies valued at $300, prescription eyeglasses in a red case valued at $150 from an undisclosed location on Carmel Street, between 10 p.m. Dec. 24 and 9 a.m. Dec. 25.

A thief or thieves stole documents valued at $1,000 from an undisclosed location near Rosanna and Second streets, 12:05 a.m. Dec. 25.

A minor placed mascara valued at $4.99 and a clean and clear face mask valued at $7.99 into her purse and exited the store on First Street without paying for them, 2 p.m. Dec. 26. The girl was stopped by employees, cited and then released to her mother.

Grand theft

A thief or thieves stole a new set of rims valued at $120 that had been in the back of the victim’s SUV on the 7500 block of Milias Court, between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 17 and 12:02 a.m. Dec. 18. The vehicle’s rear hatch back window was left unsecured.

A woman’s ex-boyfriend took a laptop computer valued at $3,000, a diamond tennis bracelet valued at $1,500 and several credit cards from an unspecified place on Westwood Drive, 1:46 p.m. Dec. 21.

Stolen vehicle

A thief or thieves stole a blue 1992 Honda Acura from Eigleberry Street, between 10 p.m. Dec. 17 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 18.

A thief or thieves stole a white 1995 Chevrolet Blazer, license plate no. 3KYA832, from the 100 block of Lewis Street, 3 p.m. Dec. 19.

A thief or thieves stole a red 2000 Dodge Ram from in front of a residence on Hanna Street, between 8 p.m. Dec. 20 and 3:33 a.m. Dec. 21.

Narcotics

A minor at Gilroy High School was cited and released for being in possession of marijuana, 10:45 a.m. Dec. 18.

A minor in a 1996 black Mitsubishi near Third Street and Uvas Park Drive was cited for possession of marijuana, 12:53 a.m. Dec. 20.

Trespassing

An unidentified person in a white Dodge trespassed at the Garlic Farm RV Park despite numerous warnings from the manager, 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18.

Injury accident

A silver 1991 Ford Explorer did not yield to a silver 2000 Volkswagen Jetta and the two vehicles collided, 6:21 p.m. Dec. 18.

Martin Ledesma Vargas was cited after his silver 1999 Mazda collided with a white 2006 Chevrolet Suburban on Day Road, 6:09 p.m. Dec. 19.

A vehicle was traveling south on Miller Avenue when its driver lost control and collided into a parked vehicle, which collided into a second vehicle, 9:26 p.m. Dec. 28.

Auto burglary

A burglar or burglars broke the window of a blue Honda Odyssey on the 8800 block of Muraoka Drive and took a woman’s purse, 10:36 p.m. Dec. 18. The burglar or burglars used the credit cards at two gas stations and several retail stores.

A burglar or burglars took a purse from a parked tan 2000 Chevrolet Suburban after smashing the rear left window, 10:09 p.m. Dec. 25.

A burglar took a wallet from a black 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo on Kelton Drive, 2:02 a.m. Dec. 26. There was no damage to the vehicle.

A suspect hit a victim in the arm after the victim hit another person in the back of her head while riding in the suspect’s truck near Mantelli Drive and Santa Teresa Boulevard, 3:11 p.m. Dec. 25.

Hit and run

A gray 2001 Jeep Cherokee hit a gray 2004 Toyota Corolla that had the right of way on First Street and Westwood Drive, 5:03 p.m. Dec. 19. The driver of the Jeep fled the scene.

An unknown vehicle collided with a city light pole near Sixth and Maple streets and left the scene, 7:44 a.m. Dec. 27.

Fraud

A man lost his wallet at Valley Fair Mall in San Jose, Dec. 19. A thief used credit cards that were in the wallet at Wal-Mart in Gilroy.

A thief or thieves stole a woman’s purse in Monterey and later used her credit cards in Gilroy, 3:42 p.m. Dec. 20.

Someone lost a wallet with credit cards near Starbucks on Camino Arroyo, between 12:50 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 23. A thief later used the card to make purchases at unspecified locations.

A thief used a Edinburgh Way resident’s bank PIN to obtain money, 9:05 a.m. Dec. 26.

A thief or thieves entered an unlocked white 2005 Chevrolet and stole a purse containing credit cards and a cell phone from Kelton Drive, between 8:30 p.m. Dec. 26 and 7:46 a.m. Dec. 27.

A thief used a Springdale Court resident’s bank card to make an online purchase, 10:18 a.m. Dec. 28.

A thief used a No Name Uno resident’s credit card to purchase $27.90 worth of merchandise from London and a Internet payment provider, 3:57 p.m. Dec. 28.

Non-injury accident

A black 2005 Chevrolet 300 failed to yield to a white 1994 Toyota Tacoma in a parking lot on First Street, 10:24 a.m. Dec. 26. The driver of the Toyota did not have a license.

DUI

A 17-year-old female in a blue 1989 Volkswagen Jetta was arrested for DUI near Monterey and Seventh streets, 2:06 a.m. Dec. 20.

Missing juvenile

A female ran away from her home on Eighth Street, 6 p.m. Dec. 18.

A juvenile never returned to her home on Princevalle Street after going to a movie, but is known to be with a friend, between Dec. 18 and 20.

A 12-year-old female was reported as a runaway from her Mantelli Drive home. Police located her in the area of Miller Park and returned her home, 12:10 a.m. Dec. 21.

A juvenile ran away from her home on Hanna Street, 3:14 p.m. Dec. 26.

Recovered vehicle

Police recovered a gray 1996 Honda Civic on Monterey Street and collected evidence at the scene, 8:22 a.m. Dec. 20.

Child abuse

Police investigated a case of child abuse or neglect on Lilly Avenue, 1:39 p.m. Dec. 19.

A 16-year-old female alleged an unfit environment at her home on Cypress Court, 4:59 p.m. Dec. 27.

Bike theft

A thief took a black Fit STR1 bike with gold rims and pedals while the victim was shopping at the Dollar Tree on First Street, 7:42 p.m. Dec. 20.

A female took a white BMX style bike with a “Forum” sticker on the frame while the owner was inside a store on First Street, 11:29 a.m. Dec. 28.

Residential burglary

A burglar or burglars entered an unlocked home on Eighth Street and took a PlayStation Portable with eight games in a pouch valued at $360, between 2:30 and 3:15 p.m. Dec. 17.

A burglar or burglars entered a Williamsburg Way house after the front door was left unlocked and stole a spare key to the house, between 11:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. Dec. 25.

A burglar or burglars ransacked a house in the 1000 block of Mantelli Drive and took a 46-inch flat screen TV valued at $1,500, between Dec. 17 and 26.

A burglar or burglars forcibly entered a storage shed on Church Street and took a Hitachi air compressor valued at $400, a wet tile-cutting saw valued at $500, a Ryobi miter-chop saw valued at $500 and a Skil hand saw valued at $150, between Dec. 20 and 27.

Two unknown 14-year-old males bought miscellaneous bicycle parts with a counterfeit $100, 10:51 a.m. Dec. 23.

An unidentified person used a fictitious $100 bill at Salvation Army on Camino Arroyo, 7:34 p.m. Dec. 26.

An unidentified person filed a forgery report on First Street, 12:30 p.m. Dec. 23.

An unidentified person lost a cell phone on Camino Arroyo, between 9:30 and 10 p.m. Dec. 23.

A person on Leavesley Road lost unidentified property, between 4 and 7 p.m. Dec. 23.

A vandal smashed the window of a vehicle on Chestnut Street, 9:24 p.m. Dec. 28.
