Hard Ninety moved to 2-0 in second half Men’s D Basketball League play Monday with a 60-48 victory over Intero at Solorsano Gym.

Frank Tomasetti led four Hard Ninety shooters in double figures with a 15-point performance. Robert Mercado made three 3-point field goals on his way to 13 points. Destry Jones netted 12 points, Mark Cisernos 10 for the winners. Miguel Gilliard led Intero with 16 points. Daniel Fauss aided the Intero cause with 12 points. Hard Ninety held a 23-20 lead at halftime.

Jiffy Lube, the first-half champion, also reached 2-0 for the half with an 82-71 nod over Shake N Bake.

JT Tipton dropped in 19 of his game-high 25 points in the first half as Jiffy Lube, 8-0 for the season, built a 44-30 intermission edge.

Ron Colman Jr. popped in four 3-pointers in a 23-point effort for the winners. Larry Smoot’s four 3-pointers sparked a 14-point showing. Robert Otis added 10 points for Jiffy Lube.

Bravo made three 3-pointers and highlighted the Shake N Bake (1-1) attack with 20 points. Eric Tollison delivered 19 points, Mitch Mezzetti 18 for Shake N Bake, the first-half DD champion.

South Valley Disposal (1-1) outlasted Gamers In Control 53-48 as Derek Strong hustled to 18 points.

Donnie Gooding worked inside for 14 points and Robert Rodriguez followed with 13 for the winners. Anthony Werner hit three 3-pointers while pacing Gamers In Control with 16 points. Mitchell Pierce helped the Gamers offense with 15 points. South Valley Disposal led 27-16 at halftime.

Adolfo Tellez turned a three-point play with 3.3 seconds left to play into a Warriors’ 41-40 Men’s DD League victory over Crunch Time on Wednesday at Solorsano Gym.

Nick Langone’s slashing drive through the lane for a layup gave Crunch Time a 40-38 edge with 11 seconds left. Tellez responded with a tying layup and gave the Warriors the victory with a free throw.

Mike Vanni anchored the Warriors’ offense with 15 points. Tellez and Vance Lee each garnered eight Warriors’ points. Langone led Crunch Time with 14 points. Bill Klauer helped Crunch Time with 13 points.

The Gilroy Bulls reached 2-0 in second-half play with a 53-51 decision over State Farm.

Chris Bibaeff scored eight points in the second half as the Bulls rallied from a 29-20 deficit. Eric Whalen led the Bulls with 15 points. Bibaeff finished with 11, Raul Quintanar 10 for the Bulls.

Adolfo Mirelez drained five 3-pointers while pacing the State Farm offense with 19 points. Adam Morales garnered 11 points, Teo Ponce 10 for State Farm.

Morgan Hill Garage Door joined the Bulls at 2-0 with a 63-45 nod over Team Techron.

Adolfo Rivas poured in 19 points and Enrique Dolmo and Sig Reynisson added 16 apiece for Garage Door. Justin Nicholson highlighted the Techron offense with 20 points.
