Paced by a Greg Hamik 23-point performance, which included five 3-pointers, all 12 Mustangs scored in the rout.

The Mustangs jumped out to a commanding 33-16 halftime advantage and kept the pedal to the metal in the third quarter, posting 27 points to increase its lead to 60-27 heading into the final period.

Michael Hartman grabbed a team-high 14 rebounds to go along with nine points. Hartman has nabbed double-digit rebounds in four straight outings and eight of his last 10. Dolapo Opere pulled down 11 rebounds as the Mustangs totaled 60 boards as a team.

Connor Ross had eight points off the bench and Cameron Harrell came away with six steals.

Gilroy (14-3, 5-0) has a bit of a break before a pivotal matchup against Palma (13-3, 4-0) next Wednesday, Jan. 27 in Gilroy.

The winner will have sole possession of first place in the TCAL. Palma beat San Benito 48-44 in overtime Wednesday.
