Police incidents: Woman reports possible rape at party two years ago

Auto burglary

A burglar or burglars entered the All Pro Tow yard on Mayock Road, broke into eight vehicles and took the stereos out of at least six vehicles, 10:38 p.m. Feb. 20.

A burglar of burglars broke into a locked gray 2004 Nissan Altima on Kern Avenue and stole a stereo, amplifier and speakers valued at $1,225, between 7 p.m. Feb. 21 and 7:45 a.m. Feb. 22.

A burglar of burglars broke windows of a blue 1998 Toyota and a white 1996 Ford on Monterey Street and took GPS units from both cars, between 6:29 and 6:43 a.m. Feb. 23.

A burglar of burglars took a woman’s purse and wallet from a gold GMC Canyon on Third Street, 9:54 a.m. Feb. 23.

A burglar of burglars took an HP laptop valued at $850 and a Palm Pilot valued at $100 from a 1989 Mazda on Laurel Drive, between 4:50 and 5:15 a.m. Feb. 24.

A burglar of burglars took a Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS valued at $300 from a vehicle on Monterey Street, 10:27 a.m. Feb. 24.

Grand theft

A thief or thieves took alloy wheels valued at $2,200 from a vehicle on Stutz Way, 7:50 a.m. Feb. 23.

Non-injury accident

The driver of a silver 2006 Mazda Tribute was stopped on southbound Santa Teresa Boulevard, 8:14 a.m. Feb. 23. The driver of a white 2002 Nissan Sentra failed to see the traffic stopped in front of her and, due to her unsafe speed in the conditions, she rear-ended the Mazda, knocking it into a gold 2000 Honda Odyssey and a black 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe, both of which were also stopped.

A gray 2004 Dodge Caravan and a red 1995 Mazda Van collided near Day Road and Monterey Street, 8:16 a.m. Feb. 23. Both drivers were cited for property damage.

An accident occurred near First Street and Miller Avenue, 6:35 a.m. Feb. 24.

Stolen vehicle

A thief or thieves stole a silver 2000 Honda Civic from Calle Del Rey, 3:45 a.m. Feb. 22.

A thief or thieves stole a green 1997 Honda Civic from Stoney Court, 6:30 a.m. Feb. 24.

Commercial burglary

A burglar smashed a front window panel of a business on San Ysidro Avenue and stole a Wave music system valued at $449 and a CD changer valued at $239, 4:14 a.m. Feb. 22.

Public intoxication

A minor was arrested at Christopher High School, 850 Day Road, after drinking on campus and being unable to care for himself, 9:33 a.m. Feb. 22. He was released to his father.

Animals

An unidentified person was cited after a dog got loose twice while at Las Animas Veterans Park, 11:42 a.m. Feb. 22. The reporting party called in and signed a citation regarding the dog at large.

An unidentified person reported an injured dog on Church Street, 12:20 p.m. Feb. 22.

An unidentified person was cited for a barking dog on English Oak Circle, 10 a.m. Feb. 2.

An unidentified person was cited for a loose dog on Jacaranda Way, 2:29 p.m. Feb. 24.

An unidentified person was bit by a dog near Fourth and Hanna streets, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 23.

Rape

Grand theft

A thief or thieves entered an unlocked 1992 Honda on Third Street and took a stereo system and speakers valued at $1,425, between 9 p.m. Feb. 21 and 4:30 a.m. Feb. 22.

A thief or thieves stole a wallet from an employee area of a store on Camino Arroyo and later used credit cards in Morgan Hill, Mountain View and Colma, 12:30 p.m.. Feb. 22.

Petty theft

Thieves entered a store on Chestnut Street and stole miscellaneous clothing and shoes valued at $150 and a baby monitor valued at $180 and fled in a tan 2000 Chevrolet Suburban, 3:47 p.m. Feb. 22.

A female stole two pair of men’s jeans from a store on Camino Arroyo by concealing them in her purse and exiting the store, 1:31 p.m. Feb. 23.

Julie Ann Adams was arrested after putting underwear, bras, shorts, shirts and lighters into her purse and walking out of a store on Camino Arroyo without paying for them, 11:55 p.m. Feb. 24. She had prior theft-related charges and was on probation for possession of stolen property.

Hit and run

A black Pontiac hit a parked tan 2004 Dodge station wagon on Farrell Avenue, 5:45 p.m. Feb. 22. The suspect is known.

Assault

An unidentified person punched and kicked another person near Dowdy and West Eighth streets, 5:30 p.m. Feb. 22.

A father and a son got into an argument on Kern Avenue, 4:39 p.m. Feb. 23. The son punched the father in the stomach.

An unidentified person punched another person in the nose during a disagreement during a basketball game on Grenache Way, 8:43 p.m. Feb. 23.

An unknown person struck another person in the face and back of his head several times on Mantelli Drive, 10:52 p.m. Feb. 23. The victim does not know the suspect and has no idea why he was assaulted.

Missing juvenile

A girl left her home on St. Andrews Circle after an argument with her parents, 5:30 p.m. Feb. 22.

Fraud

An unidentified person sold an invalid 2/3-day Disneyland park pass for $200 on Welburn Avenue, between 2 and 4 p.m. Feb. 1.

Robbery

An unidentified person was fixing his vehicle’s lights on the 400 block of First Street when he was approached by a robber who demanded money and a cell phone, between Nov. 26 and Dec. 25.

Vandalism

A juvenile got upset and punched a window on Carmel Street, causing it break, 4:55 p.m. Feb. 23.

An unidentified person cut down another person’s tree in that person’s backyard on Swallow Lane without permission, between 10 a.m. Feb. 16 and 1 p.m. Feb. 24.

A vandal damaged property on Church Street, 9 p.m. Feb. 23.

A vandal damaged a white 1995 Acura on Cumberland Drive, between 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21 and 5 a.m. Feb. 22.

Injury accident

The driver of a white 2002 Ford F25 didn’t see a man in a wheel chair crossing in front of him on Wren Avenue and hit him at a low speed, 6:13 p.m. Feb. 23. The man was knocked out of the wheel chair, causing minor injuries.

Lost property

An unidentified person lost property on Babbs Creek Drive, between 12:12 and 2:50 a.m. Feb. 21.
