In a tri-meet with Gilroy High and Alvarez on Thursday, Jake Day’s long jump of 16-1 and 28.75 finish in the 200 were both personal and school bests. Thomas Patterson also set the benchmark with his 100-meter time of 14.17.

Stephanie Toste’s 100-meter jaunt of 15.97 set a girls’ record in the event. Lili Nguyen continued her successful start to the season with another solid triple jump distance of 23-8.5, and Shabnam Shamsuddin’s shot put heave of 19-0 were both new school records.
