Dorris Uarda Cashion, 77, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, born in Lawn, Texas passed away at her home in Hollister, CA after a lengthy illness.

She was the fifth child born to J. J. and Marie Shelton of Texas. She graduated from Lubbock High School in 1950 in Texas.

She then married Dewey Cashion (from Hollister, CA) in Lubbock June 20, 1950. They have been married 59 wonderful years. After they married, Dewey took her back with him to Hollister, CA. They have resided in Hollister ever since.

Dorris was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was active in many ministries of the church. She loved to knit, crochet and make crafts. She also loved her trips to the Mojave Desert and back to Texas to visit her sisters and other relatives. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor.
