Business Briefs: New interim CFO at Saint Louise

Saint Louise Regional Hospital announced that Chelva Kumar, vice
president, chief financial officer and corporate responsibility
officer, has tendered his resignation effective Wednesday to assume
the position of president at EPIR Technologies, Inc., in Chicago,
Ill.
Saint Louise Regional Hospital announced that Chelva Kumar, vice president, chief financial officer and corporate responsibility officer, has tendered his resignation effective Wednesday to assume the position of president at EPIR Technologies, Inc., in Chicago, Ill.

Nicole Thomson, director of business planning and development, will assume additional responsibilities as interim chief financial officer effective April 1 until a permanent replacement is named.

Thomson joined Saint Louise Regional Hospital in August 2008 as director of finance, responsible for financial analysis, planning, external reporting and budgeting. Prior to Saint Louise, she served as the director of finance for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) for 10 years. She received her Law degree/ MBA from Santa Clara University and has 17 years experience in finance, with a strong emphasis in financial analysis, planning and budgeting.
