GILROY – Lugo Motors reached 2-0 in Men’s CC Softball League play Wednesday at Christmas Hill Park by upsetting Mangia La Pizza 6-4.

The Motormen shook off a 3-0 deficit with a pair of runs in the fourth inning. Thomas Woods and Joe Cano both doubled and scored.

Dylan Byrne, Rob Spaulding, Rhino Souza and Joe Woods each singled and scored in the fifth for Lugo Motors. Mike Hernandez helped the Lugo Motors offense with a double and single.

Jess Lopez Jr. paced Mangia La Pizza, the first-half E champion, with a triple and two singles.

Heathen also moved to 2-0 with a 10-4 nod over Team Wicked.

Tito Flores stroked three hits and Shane Christmas doubled and singled for Heathen. Alex Pena and Sat Regalado hit consecutive home runs for Wicked.

Randy Garcia went 4-for-5 and Gary Diaz and Daniel Caspary added three hits apiece as the Players-HD Auto Glass topped Anritsu 19-10. Tony Buenla went 3-for-4 for Anritsu.

Jeff Smith hit a home run, double and single to lead Fun Party Supply to an 11-6 victory over RSW Racing. George Castro hit a three-run home run and Renaldo Lara went 3-for-4 for RSW Racing.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza of Gilroy defeated Garza Sisters & Friends 13-1 Wednesday to take over first place in the Women’s League second-half standings with a 2-0 mark.

Tosha Raoof went 4-for-4 and Monica Pantoja and Laurie Dixon each scored three runs for Mountain Mike’s. Cynthia Garza singled and scored on a Melissa Taku sacrifice fly for Garza Sisters.

Station 55 turned back All 4 Seasons Pet Services 10-7 to leave both clubs at 1-1.

Michelle MacVicar and Diana Lujan lined RBI-singles in the fifth as Station 55 responded to a 7-4 deficit. Stacey Schaffer hit a two-run single in the sixth as Station 55 scored four runs. Margene Peterson led the All4 Seasons offense with three hits.

D-Boyz improved to 2-0 in the Men’s BB second-half standings Monday with a 4-0 blanking of Los Gigantes at Las Animas Park.

Clint Minor singled and scored for D-Boyz in the fourth, then ignited a three-run sixth with a two-run triple. Danny Pequeno doubled and singled for the winners.

Bobby Reggiani doubled and scored on a one-out single by Gino Martinez in the bottom of the seventh to give Trillo-Dee’z Nutz a 15-14 victory over the Dirty Dozen.

Reggiani finished with four hits and Ryan Dequin homered and tripled for the winners. Ryan Evanger, Michael Garcia and James Lopez each homered for Dirty Dozen, the first-half C titlist.

The Hit Crew (2-0) defeated This Is It 15-10 in Men’s C action Monday.

Matt Maslanka went 4-for-4 and Doug Jensen scored three runs for the Crew. JR Hernandez homered and Phil Ruiz scored runs for This Is It.

Maniosos joined the Hit Crew in first place with a forfeit win over Taqueria Del Sol.

DS Builders defeated CSM 14-10 behind four hits each from Chris Thomas, Kurt Simmons and Sean Hale. Rich Haun hit a two-run triple for CSM.

Robert Sanchez went 4-for-4 to highlight a 10-5 Who’s Next verdict over IFC-Self Made. Jose Gamboa tripled and singled for IFC-Self Made.
