GILROY – Omar Benitez went 6-for-6 Monday as the Dirty Dozen upset D-Boyz 26-21 in Men’s BB Softball League play at Las Animas Park.

Brandon Duggan powered two home runs, Art Naranjo, Benny Naranjo and Raul Bueno one homer apiece as the Dirty Dozen, the first-half C champion, moved to 1-2 in the second half.

D-Boyz, 2-1, received four hits apiece from Leroy Dozal, George Salgado, Daniel DeLeon and Gabriel Ponce.

Trillo-Dee’z Nutz moved into a tie for first at 2-1 with an 11-10 comeback win over Los Gigantes.

Matias Franco and Rosendo Acevedo stroked home runs and Isaiah Gonzalez went 3-for-3 to spark Los Gigantes to a 10-8 lead by the sixth inning. A Memo Lopez home run and an unearned run pulled the Nutz even in the sixth. Raul Gracia singled and scored on a two-out infield error in the eighth to earn the Nutz the victory.

Lopez went 5-for-5 and Ryan Dequin and Gino Martinez each homered for the winners.

IFC-Self Made reached 2-1 in the Men’s C League with a 19-3 decision over Maniosos Monday at Christmas Hill Park.

Derek Orca powered two home runs and Willie Gamboa contributed two triples and a single to the IFC-Self Made offense. Chris Adame lined an RBI-single for Maniosos.

Team Hair FX is 2-0 in Men’s D play after a 12-8 verdict over Humboldt Brewing Wednesday.

Keith Muraoka fashioned a three-hit performance for the second straight week for Team Hair FX. Dave Keim Sr. homered for Humboldt Brewing.

Mike Scardina lashed two home runs to help 2-0 Willis Construction by Feather Haven 20-2. Nick Bonfiglio stroked a two0run single for Feather Haven.

Los Guapos-EMC turned back the bike Center 20-15 behind two home runs from Addison Quach. Cesar Vasquez homered in a 4-for-5 showing for the winners and Mark Salazar went 4-for-4. Sam May hit a grand slam and Paul Stanley and Willie Niffenegger added solo shots for Bike Center.

The Hustlers advanced to 3-0 in Co-Rec B action Tuesday by topping Anritsu 20-1. Vicki Velasquez powered a triple and double to finish with four Hustler RBI. Ray Avena scored the Anritsu run.

Richie Rodriquez went 4-for-5 and Cel Capulin scored four runs as the NorCal Regulators (2-1) defeated JR’s Crew 17-2. Andrea Garcia tripled across one run and scored on a Paul Garcia single for JR’s Crew.
