REC SOFTBALL: Hit Crew lives up to billing, wins 22-3 to begin fall league

The Hit Crew opened Men’s C Fall Softball League action Monday with a 22-3 decision over O’Neal Roofing at Christmas Hill Park.

Eddie Adame drove in seven runs with a pair of home runs and three singles for the winners. Jake Maslanka and Doug Jensen lined consecutive Hit Crew homers and Tyler Maslanka scored five runs. Benjie Casarez doubled and singled, scoring twice for o’Neal Roofing.

Los Gigantes followed with a 15-9 verdict over DS Builders. Holding a 10-8 lead after five innings, Los Gigantes pushed across five runs in the sixth. Stevie Martinez highlighted the rally with a three-run triple.

Matias Franco went 4-for-5 and scored four runs for Los Gigantes. Chris Salter went 3-for-3 and Daniel Fellows stroked a three-run home run for DS Builders.

The Dirty Dozen opened Men’s CC play Tuesday at Christmas Hill with a 17-6 nod over Anritsu.

Ryan Evanger went 4-for-4 with a homer and Donny Gooding went 4-for-4 for the winners. Joe Cano stroked a home run, triple and single for Anritsu.

Mountain Mike’s topped Tax Systems 17-4 behind a homer, two doubles and a single from Joe Woods. Joe Keldsen and Mike Olmeda each netted two hits for Tax Systems.

Willie Construction powered by the Players 9-1 as Pat Goodman and Mike Scardina each scored two runs. Frank Duran went 3-for-3 for the Players.

Blackout Window Tinting turned back Mountain Mike’s Pizza of Gilroy 19-13 in the Women’s Fall League opener Wednesday at Las Animas Park.

Chrissy Ivory went 4-for-5 and scored three Blackout runs. Teammates Caroline Martinez and Lena Keller each scored three runs. Laura Vargas went 3-for-4 for Mountain Mike’s Pizza.

Maureen Hughes and Shawna Snakenburg each collected three hits and scored three runs to help All 4 Seasons Pet Services past Station 55-California Silk Screening 21-1. Trudi Souza went 3-for-3 for the winners. Michele MacVicar singled and scored the Station 55-Cal Silk run.

No Soup 4 You topped Anritsu-Burrito Azteca 26-11 in the Men’s D opener Wednesday at Christmas Hill.

Fausto Padilla went 4-for-4 and Peter Razo stroked a grand slam for the Soup. Cesar Lopez Jr. doubled and singled, plating two runs for Anritsu-Burrito Azteca.

Rico Llamas went 3-for-3 to lead Team Hair FX past Feather Haven 12-4. Albert Alosi doubled across two Feather Haven runs.

Weapons of Mass Seduction rallied for six runs with two out in the bottom of the seventh inning to secure a 14-14 tie with the Heathens. Hans Jorgensen went 4-for-4 and Shaun Standridge homered for Weapons. Zeke Lopez homered, doubled and singled for the Heathens.
