A big-rig tanker full of wax rolled over in rush-hour traffic on U.S. 101, police said.
No injuries were reported in the single-vehicle accident, which was reported about 3:30 p.m. on the southbound side of U.S. 101 just south of Coyote Creek Golf Drive, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Jaime Rios said.
The tractor trailer was still resting on its side, blocking two lanes of traffic after 4 p.m. Some of the tanker’s load of wax was slowly leaking shortly after the accident, Rios said.
Police do not yet know what caused the accident. The driver’s name was not available at press time, Rios said.
