Let's hear it for the bands

Despite gloomy weather, 19 high school bands battled it out in
the Gilroy Garlic City Fall Classic, an annual event held at Gilroy
High School. The 80-member Gilroy/Christopher Alliance Marching
Band and Color Guard placed second in their class behind Los Banos
High School.

Despite gloomy weather, 19 high school bands battled it out in the Gilroy Garlic City Fall Classic, an annual event held at Gilroy High School. The 80-member Gilroy/Christopher Alliance Marching Band and Color Guard placed second in their class behind Los Banos High School. The event was held Saturday at Garcia Elder Stadium and was sponsored by the Gilroy/Christopher Alliance. Proceeds from the event support all band and color guard programs at Gilroy’s two public high schools.
