The pair at No. 3-doubles, Alejandra Pacheco and Megan Meazell, also fell behind 1-0 in the match before tying the things with a second-set tiebreaker and sealed the outcome with a 10-6 third-set win.
The Mustangs finish the regular season 3-9. The Tri-County Athletic League championships begin Monday and head coach Jami Reynolds believes her girls are peaking at the right time.
“I think we are performing at our highest level right now,” she said. “Perfect timing.”
