victory over Everett Alvarez.
The Gilroy High boys soccer team hit the road Monday for a Tri-County Athletic League test and returned home with a 2-1 victory over Everett Alvarez.

Jorge Sanchez, who has seven tallies this season, including three in his last four outings, and Jonathan Diaz De Leon, the team’s leading goal producer (11) were credited with the Mustangs’ goals Monday. Kristian Urias and David Valencia were given the assists.

Through four league games, the Mustangs (8-2-2, 4-0 TCAL) have outscored opponents 12-4 and remain one game up in the standings.

GHS will put a six-game winning streak on the line Wednesday with North Salinas in town for a 5:15 p.m. tilt at Garcia-Elder Sports Complex.
