SVCT presents ‘Anything Goes’

South Valley Civic Theater presents the musical “Anything Goes” Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. through March 26 at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse, 17090 Monterey Road. Bach to Blues Concert at Gavilan

See some of the area’s best talent during the Bach to Blues Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the G gavilan College Theater, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd. This year’s performers are the Watsonville Taiko, pianist Maria Amirkhanian, flamenco guitarist Alberto Marques, blues guitarist John Garcia, Gavilan College voice instructor Nate Pruitt, and the winner of the Marian Filice Youth Piano Competition. Tour homes of historic women

Join members of the Gilroy Historical Society at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Gilroy Museum, 195 Fifth St. for a tour of Gilroy’s past. The historic walking tour will celebrate Women’s History Month by finding the homes of several important women such as Ascencion Solorsano and Caroline Hoxett. Reservations are appreciated by calling the museum at 846-0446.

Hands-on art activities for kids

Local art professionals will conduct more than 20 different workshops and hands-on activities for children ages 5 to 11 years old from 9 a.m. to 1 p..m. Saturday at Wheeler Community Center, 250 W. Sixth St. The event is free. Details: 846-0460.

Mercy Fists comes to 9Lives Club
