Triple theater treat

The Gilroy High School Theater Department will present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” at 7:30 p.m. through Saturday. It is directed by Ethan Stocks, music direction is by Carol Harris and choreography is by Meghan Garvalho. Cost: $10 for students and $12 for adults.

Rucker Elementary School will be donating a percentage of money raised from its performances of “Little Red Riding Hood – REDefined,” which will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday, and at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturday at 325 Santa Clara Ave. Another round of performances will also take place the following week at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for public performances are $5 at the door for adults and $3 for children.

“Murder on the Mary Dear” shows at 1 p.m. for $6 and at 6:30 p.m. for $10 on Saturday at Ascencion Solorsano Middle School – 7121 Grenache Way.

Just Chill comes to 9Lives Club

Folklorico at Fiesta Mexico 2011

The third annual Fiesta Mexico community concert features three Folklorico dancing companies at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Gavilan College Theatre, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd. The concert is a fundraiser benefiting the Arts Back in the Class Room at Gavilan. Cioppino dinner at Portuguese Lodge

The I.F.D.E.S Portuguese Hall, 250 Old Gilroy St., will hold its crab cioppino and shrimp dinner Saturday. The no-host bar begins at 6 p.m. and the dinner is at 7 p.m. Cost: $45 per person. One-act comedies at dinner theater

Limelight Actors Theater Presents “One Way Ticket: One Act Comedies about Airline Travel” Friday and Saturday and March 25 and 26 at Lizarran Tapas Restaurant, 7400 Monterey St. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Cost: $18.
