VOLLEYBALL: Mustangs roll against Pajaro Valley, improve to 8-0 in league

25-18 on Tuesday night.

The Mustangs, who have dropped just four sets in league competition, are 11-3 overall and 8-0 in the TCAL, placing them atop the Valley Division.

The Mustangs’ leader in kills, Dietrich Baumgartner, was at it again Tuesday, banging down a match-high 20. Gavin Menges supplied 36 assists while Robby Filice and Lucas Gravell had three blocks apiece.

A full slate this week continues at home tonight against non-league opponent Mt. Madonna. The two schools went to five sets in a matchup last season with the Hawks prevailing 3-2. Game time is slated for 6:30 p.m. inside Bob Hagen Memorial Gym.

The Mustangs also host Gonzales on Thursday. That game is schedule to start at 6 p.m.
