CHS scores once in the second and once in the sixth to get by
Brian Ransom tossed 5 1/3 innings of one-run ball and Trevor Large retired the final two hitters to record the save and a 2-1 Christopher High baseball road victory over Monterey Bay League opponent Watsonville on Monday night.

The Cougars (7-15 overall, 5-8 MBL) scored one in the second inning on an RBI double from Nader Elaskary, one of his two hits in the game. Ryan Fredricks plated the Cougars’ second run in the sixth, driving home pinch runner Jose Chavez, who was inserted after Brandon Pickens led off the inning with a walk.

Nate Davis and Brandon Irby also had hits for CHS who return home to play Seaside on Wednesday.
