Alex Pena lined a grand slam and Carissa Kozacek produced three hits and three RBI as Blackout took the pennant in the five-team league with a 5-1 mark. Blackout opens play in the B League in the second half with a game against Just 2 Party Tuesday May 24 at 7:40pm at Las Animas.

Jordan Regallo went 4-for-5 and scored four runs for Hi-Energy Networks.

The Big Kahunas turned back Rush Order 11-6 as Julie Berggren went 4-for-5. Ray Ramos went 4-for-4 for Rush Order (3-3).

Chili’s Grill & Bar rallied past Kay’s Kids 12-9 to earn a share of first place in the Co-Rec D League Sunday. Chili’s and Chaos each finished at 4-2 and were set to break the tie Monday at Las Animas.

Trailing 9-6 after five frames, Chili’s drew even in the sixth as Audra Brown stroked a two-run single and Austin Stiles hit an RBI-single. Ryan Tapia hit a three-run home run with two out in the top of the Chili’s seventh inning. Rudy Maquinalez went 3-for-4 and Greg Lucio scored three runs for Kay’s Kids.

Willis Construction reached 5-1 atop the Men’s D League’s first-half standings by topping DeHaro Mechanical 11-2 Friday at Christmas Hill Park. Mike Scardina went 3-for-3 for Willis. Jaime Hernandez and Mike Gonzales Jr. each went 2-for-3 with an RBI for DeHaro (4-2).

The Heathens joined Willis in first at 5-1 with an 18-3 victory over Familia-Dos Amigos. Joel Lopez and Maciel Urenda hit Heathens homers. Chris Velasco went 2-for-3 and scored two runs for the losers.

A-Plus Learning Center defeated Bike Center 18-8 as Albert Vegas hit a home run and three singles. Marc Vegas added a homer, double and single for the Center. Danny Hinojos and Jeff Howard each produced three hits for Bike Center.

No Soup 4 You won two Men’s EE League games last week to finish the half with a 6-0 record. Fausto Padilla homered in a 4-for-5 effort and scored five runs as the Soup outlasted Louie & the Outlaws 33-4.

Isaac Sepulveda homered and scored four runs to lead Picassos Tattoo (5-1) by the Assassins 18-6 Thursday. Rudy Maquinalez tripled and doubled for the Assassins.

Claddagh Brew Crew defeated the Titans 17-6 Thursday in a Men’s E League showdown. Willie Wiehman went 3-for-4 and scored three runs as Claddagh (5-1) earned a move from the E League to DD League for the second half. Mike Guerra went 3-for-4 and scored three runs for 4-2 Titans.

Tucker Baksa homered and Leroy Zamarripa went 4-for-4 as the Lost Boyz defeated VFW Bingo 16-6. Nick Robinson homered and Julio Zavala went 3-for-3 for VFW Bingo.

George Martinez went 4-for-4 and Gibby Gibson homered to highlight a 13-7 Anritsu Men’s DD League win over the Borrachos Friday. Tony Murillo hit a home run and two singles for Borrachos. Team Hair FX defeated HUH 15-12 as Mike Kachel homered and Chris Botello stroked a triple, double and single for the winners. Brad Hunter homered and Mark Salazar went 4-for-4 for HUH.

Aaron Parker hit two homers, Brett Scott one in Feather Haven’s 16-11 win over Humboldt Brewing. Dave Keim Jr. and Dave Keim Sr. each homered in three-hit showings for Humboldt.
