Jeramy Ailes Memorial Fishing Derby
Test your fishing skills for a good cause during the Jeramy Ailes Memorial Fishing Derby and Scholarship Fundraiser from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at McAlpine Lake, 900 Anzar Road San Juan Bautista. There will be a barbecue lunch following. No fishing license is required. $300 will be awarded for the heaviest fish caught by adults, and $100 will go to the child who catches the heaviest fish. Fifth annual Tequila Tasting Fundraiser

Extreme Youth event at Skate Park
Meet local skate pros, win prizes and listen to local bands during the free Extreme Youth event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Gilroy Skate Park at Las Animas Park, 400 Mantelli Drive. Duckie Derby and Paddle Boat Race
Gilroy Gardens will hold its second annual Duckie Derby and Celebrity Paddle Boat Races at 2 p.m. Saturday. The rubber duckies will be let loose over Bonfante Falls to race to the finish line. The grand prize is a vacation for four to Disneyland including airfare and hotel. Other prizes include local gift certificates. You don’t need not be present to win. Duckies may be purchased for $30 each. $20 of each purchase goes directly to support Leadership Gilroy programs. At 4 p.m., head down to Paddle Boat Dock and bet on your favorite local celebrities. Art, Wine & Chocolate Festival
Fernwood Cellar will hold an Art, Wine & Chocolate Festival from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the winery at the end of Redwood Retreat Road. Details: fernwoodcellars.
