Warrants lead to drug bust in Morgan Hill

Police arrested two men and found drugs and paraphernalia after serving a warrant at a home south of downtown Morgan Hill.

Officers served an arrest warrant for Joseph Alosi, 48, who was in the home at 2040 San Pedro Ave., at 10:35 p.m. Monday. Inside were three friends, including San Jose resident Ernest Musumeci, 53, who was on parole for drug related charges, Sgt. Shane Palsgrove said.

Officers conducted a search of the residence and located a glass pipe containing methamphetamine, bags of marijuana, a digital scale, a syringe, prescription pills, pay/owe sheets, heroin and a bag containing 125 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Alosi and Musumeci were arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Alosi was also arrested for his outstanding burglary warrant. They were taken to Santa Clara County Jail and booked.
