Eyesore of the Week: 900 Wildflower Court

Update: Former eyesore cleaned, beautified

The belt of 4-foot tall weeds lining about 50 yards along
Wildflower Court in southwest Gilroy is a disgrace compared with
any of the well-kept yards neighboring the empty lot. It’s so bad,
it’s been named to the city;’s worst of the worst, out-of-control
weeds.

According to the city of Gilroy’s latest weed abatement assessment report (released June 8), Wildflower Court spans from the 900 to 960 block, and the owners owe the city $3,291 in fines. The fire chief is in charge of removing the weeds on properties approved by the City Council.
