Frances Ramoni will celebrate her 100th birthday Sept. 12, 2011.

Born and raised in Hollister, Frances married Julian Ramoni in 1939. They had two children: daughter Judy and son Don. Frances worked for Mauro Stationary for 46 years. In 1994, Frances was named Woman of the Year by the Hollister Chamber of Commerce.

HONORS

Blake Winzeler

Blake Winzeler was named to the spring semester 2011 dean’s list at Sonoma State University, with a 3.5 grade point average or higher.

Blake is the son of Gary Winzeler and a 2008 graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory School.

Kristina Rosenblatt

Kristina Rosenblatt, daughter of Gina and Barry Rosenblatt of Morgan Hill, graduated in June with a double major from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She will be a staff member in Ernst & Young’s Assurance Services Group in San Francisco. This summer she is studying for her CPA.

Kristina is a 2007 graduate of Sobrato High School.

ENGAGEMENT

Gorman/Davis

Shauna Gorman and Charles Davis are engaged to be married.

Shauna, daughter of Ronald and June Gorman, is currently working on a bachelor’s degree at CSUMB. She is a bank teller in Gilroy.

Charles, son of Michael and Francine Davis, studied business management at SF State. He is a restaurant manager.

The couple plan a June 29, 2012 wedding in Gilroy, with a small, private ceremony at a local church followed by a celebration with friends and family.
