AAUW hosts women in history lunch with author

The Gilroy branch of the American Association of the University of Women is celebrating Women’s History Month with a lunch and presentation with Robert P. J. Cooney, Jr., author of the landmark book, “Winning the Vote: The Triumph of the American Woman Suffrage Movement.”

Cooney will speak at 11:30 a.m. March 10 at the Westside Grill at 8080 Santa Teresa Boulevard. The public is invited to enjoy this special illustrated presentation and talk by Cooney.
