March is upon us, and with that comes a slew of cool events going on at the Gilroy Demonstration Garden located at 7360 Eigleberry St. downtown. Get your hands dirty at this lovely earthen Mecca by attending one (or all!) of the events posted on the flier attached with this article.

Keep in mind: Fresh, seasonal vegetables can be purchased from the garden’s farm stand 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Volunteer play/work day is scheduled every week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays. A volunteer work/potluck takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday.

The Gilroy Farmers’ Market will open for its second season May 13, and continue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday through Oct. 28 on the corner of Seventh and Monterey streets.
