San Juan School Cinco de Mayo Festival: San Juan School will hold a Cinco de Mayo celebration from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 4 at the school in San Juan Bautista. There will be lots of food, games and activities for all ages. Proceeds to benefit students of San Juan School.

Gavilan Kennel Clubs Dog Show

‘Weekend Comedy’ dinner show

Limelight Actors Theater presents ’Weekend Comedy’, a bring your own dinner show Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. from through May 19 at the Gilroy Center for the Arts, 7341 Monterey St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. There is also a show at 2 p.m. May 6. MUSI-Kaleidoscope community concert

The community is invited to join The Music Academy for a series of programs featuring South Valley musicians at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gilroy United Methodist Church, 7600 Church St. Musi-Kaleidoscope is a five program series that continues May 19  and June 9. Donations will be accepted at the door. A portion of the proceeds benefit various charities of the Methodist Church. Details: 848-1064.
