Gilroy Foundation to raffle seven-night stay in Hawaii

Say “mahalo” for all the work the Gilroy Foundation does for the community by entering to win a trip in Kauai.

The winning raffle entrant will be treated to a seven-night stay for two in an ocean view condo at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort in the spring of 2013. The stay includes offer a private tour of the National Tropical Botanic Gardens as well as a private tour of the active archeological dig site known as “The Makauwahi Sinkhole.” Airfare is not included.

Raffle tickets are $100. The winner will be drawn on Sept. 15, during an annual Gilroy Foundation fundraiser at the Gilroy Elk’s Lodge – but the winners need not be present to win.

The Gilroy Foundation raises money for local causes such as grants and scholarships for students, the general fund Gilroy Center for the Arts, music and arts programs at Gilroy elementary and high schools among many other things.
