Roundup: Four Cougars score goals in road win

Alejandro Robles, Giovanni Troini, Giovanni Adame and Jose Romo scored one goal each to lead Christopher’s boys soccer team to a 4-1 victory at Pacific Grove on Tuesday.
Jacob Liberatore assisted on two goals for the Cougars, and Edwin Galeana added one assist.
Mountain View 2, Gilroy 1 – Erica Higa and freshman Ysabel Baluyot scored in the 16th and 25th minutes, respectively, and the defending Central Coast Section Division I champion Spartans held on to beat the host Mustangs.
Senior midfielder Taylor Slattery scored late in the second half for Gilroy (1-2-1).
Oakwood 74, Pescadero 23 – Sophomore guard Nate Schilling had 32 points, five assists and five steals to lead the Hawks (8-1) past the host Vikings.
Sophomore post player Justin Mortensen had 20 points, 10 rebounds and six blocked shots for Oakwood, and teammate Jonathan Angulo supplied 13 points, seven steals and five rebounds.
Oakwood freshman Ben Millward had nine steals.
