Gabe Katich pitched seven strong innings, and Kenny Hall and Brandt Burns drove in two runs each to lead Gavilan College’s baseball team to a 6-1 victory over West Hills College on Saturday at Keith Scrivner Field in Coalinga.

The win gave the Rams (5-1) a sweep of the Falcons after taking the first two games in the series, 4-2 and 13-4.

Katich improved to 2-0. The freshman right-hander allowed one earned run on four hits and three walks with three strikeouts in seven innings.

Hall and Burns both went 2-for-5 for Gavilan, and former Christopher High star Bryant Cid was 2-for-4 for the Rams.
