Gilroy police arrests
Being under the influence of a controlled substance

Luis Gonzalez, 27, transient, 5:35 a.m. Monday, near the intersection of Alexander and Ninth streets on two warrants.

David Michelson, 27, of the 100 block of Churchill Place, 9:14 p.m. Sunday, at an unspecified location for being under the influence of a controlled substance and on warrants for driving without insurance, possession of marijuana in a vehicle and having a defective windshield.

Eriberto Robles, 29, transient, 7:14 p.m. Saturday, at 166 10th St.

George Munoz, 32, of the 7200 block of Church Street, 8:59 p.m. Saturday, near the intersection of Forest and Old Gilroy streets.

Chris Upchurch, 53, transient, 2:45 p.m. Saturday, at 8080 Wren Ave.

Moises Duenas, 36, transient, 5:32 p.m. Friday, near the intersection of Fifth and Church streets on warrants for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. Duenas was listed as one of the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department's Most Wanted. Check out all of the sheriff's and Gilroy police's most wanted.

Driving with a suspended license

Enrique Ortiz, 35, of San Martin, 10:42 a.m. Monday, at 7224 Eigleberry St. for possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violation and driving with a suspended license.

Leana Luna, 26, of the 1400 block of Longmeadow Drive, 9:27 a.m. Monday, at 8880 Forest St. on warrants for driving with a suspended license, failure to pay a fine, having an unlicensed animal and failure to comply with a court order.

Tony Arballo, 48, of the 400 block of Kennedy Court, 12:30 p.m. Saturday, at his residence on a warrant.

Melissa Searle, 27, of the 7300 block of Monterey Road, 3:30 p.m. Friday, at the Gilroy Police Department, 7301 Hanna St., on warrants for improperly displaying license plates and driving with a suspended license.

Dimitrious Diaz, 39, of the 6300 block of Miller Avenue, 5:33 p.m. Friday, near the intersection of Sixth and Railroad streets on warrants for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

Burglary

Richard Oviedo, 34, of the 7000 block of Rosanna Street, 5:49 p.m. Friday, at 7531 Forest St. on warrants for disobeying a court order and burglary.

Vandalism

Amanda Morales, 22, of the 480 block of IOOF Avenue, 6:05 p.m. Sunday, near the intersection of Celvis and First streets.

Joshua Perez, 21, of the 7400 block of Alexander Street, 6:21 p.m. Friday, at 7321 Forest St. on a warrant.

Parole hold

Bonnie Jones, 49, transient, 11:27 p.m. Friday, near the intersection of First and Monterey streets.

Alex Arroyo, 36, of the 300 block of Martin Street, 5:29 p.m. Friday, at his or her residence.

Possession of a controlled substance

Dennis Duell, 45, of Morgan Hill, 3:36 p.m. Saturday, near the intersection of Fifth and Church streets for possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of a syringe and parole hold.

Martin Acosta, 28, of an unspecified address on Taft Court, 10:33 p.m. Friday, near the intersection of Alexander and Lewis streets for giving a false name to a peace officer and possession of a controlled substance.

Driving under the influence

Damon Hague, 39, of the 200 block of Farrell Avenue, 7:10 p.m. Monday, at his residence on warrants for driving under the influence, failure to appear in court and failure to pay a fine.

Maria Cardona, 48, of the 7100 block of Eigleberry Street, 1:12 a.m. Monday, at her residence on warrants for failing to appear in court and driving under the influence.

Javier Marquez, 22, of the 1300 block of Third Street, 2:06 a.m. Monday, near the intersection of Lewis and Forest streets.

Sergio Rodriguez, 29, of King City, 11:14 p.m. Saturday, at an unspecified location on Monterey Street for violating a court order and on warrants for threatening to commit a crime resulting in death, driving under the influence, resisting a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance and violating a court order.

Juan Becerril, 28, of Morgan Hill, 11:42 p.m. Saturday, at 11 First St. for driving under the influence and driving without a license.

Ranulfo Guevara, 30, of Hollister, 11:27 p.m. Friday, near the intersection of Alexander and Lewis streets.

Petty theft

Francisco Lopez, 18, of the 1100 block of Ortega Circle, 7 p.m. Monday, at 777 First St.

Tara Aguilar, 21, of San Jose, 4:12 p.m. Sunday, at Wal-Mart, 7150 Camino Arroyo.

George Casillas, 56, of the 7300 block of Chestnut Street, 2:45 p.m. Saturday, at 6906 Chestnut St.

Krystal Cervantes, 21, of the 7700 block of Eigleberry Street, 1:26 p.m. Sunday, at 7251 Camino Arroyo

Possession of marijuana

David Ontiveros, 31, of the 1000 block of Mantelli Drive, 12:34 a.m. Sunday, at 7140 Church St. for possession of marijuana and on parole hold.

Driving without a license

Ruben Huerta, 28, of the 500 block of Seventh Street, 10:21 a.m. Sunday, near the intersection of Sixth and Forest streets on a warrant.

Contempt of court

Randy Munoz, 49, of the 7600 block of Los Padres Court, 12:07 p.m. Monday, at the Gilroy Police Department, 7301 Hanna St.
