The loss prevented Aladdin-Rhino from clinching the first-half title. Aladdin-Rhino (4-1) plays Windsor Plumbing at 7:40 p.m. on Monday June 13 at Las Animas Park. Second-place teams Countryside and Las Animas Sweepers, each 3-2, play the 8:50 nightcap.

Brian Sullivan’s two-run triple helped Countryside to a three-run rally in the bottom of the sixth for an 8-5 lead. Aladdin-Rhino retaliated with four runs in the sixth, led by consecutive run-producing triples by Alan Hazelberg and Sabastain Caberra.

Dave DeCarlo drew a two-out walk in the Countryside sixth, scoring on consecutive singles from Bob Reggiani and Louie Aguayo. John DeCarlo Jr. opened the Daycare seventh with a double, scoring on a Brett Scott single.

Aguayo and Eric Peterson each went 3-for-3 for the winners, Caberra 3-for-3 for the losers.

The Sweepers tripped California Silk Screening 12-3 behind home runs from Kevin Orosco, Brian Cortez and Gabriel Rodriguez. Daniel Garcia and Maciel Urenda each collected two Silk Screen hits.

Jeremy Page hit two homers and Jose Melendrez and Dean Crew added one apiece as Temple Inland defeated Windsor Plumbing 26-17. Paul Bejarano went 5-for-5 and Mike Peternal fashioned a double and three singles for Windsor Plumbing.

No Soup 4 You clinched a tie for the first-half Men’s CCC pennant Monday with a 19-8 decision over Central Coast Collision.

Fausto Padilla went 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBI for the 5-0 Soup. Reynaldo Lara used a home run and double to grab five RBI. Jesse Aguilar, Rick Hataway and Chris Thomas each went 2-for-3 and scored once for Central Coast.

Pro Electric stopped Dutchman’s Pizza 15-9 to leave the Electricians at 4-1. Pro Electric erased a 9-7 deficit in the sixth inning with an eight-run outburst sparked by a lead-off home run from Eddie Adame. Mat Piedmont homered, doubled and singled for the winners, with John Carrillo 3-for-3. Jason Trujillo went 3-for-4 for Dutchman’s Pizza.
