Anthony (Tony) George Taylor, 67 years young passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010 peacefully at his home in Fallon Nevada surrounded by family and friends.
Jason J. Arballo passed away in Hollister at the age of 39. He was born in Hollister and lived in San Benito County all of his life. He married his wife, Frankie, in 2005 at the Eade Ranch on Santa Ana Valley Road. He liked rodeo, barbecuing, dancing, cruising in the country and the Panoche Valley. He had a heart of gold, he was loved by so many and always had a smile. He was a man who would help anyone in need.
Elizabeth Hackett Breen died peacefully at home in Hollister, CA on March 26, 2010. She was 90 years old – a remarkable lady who led a remarkable life. She was born on August 2, 1919 at Mather Field in Sacramento, CA, the eldest of three daughters of Gen. Francis D. Hackett and Sara MacDonald Hackett. Her father's position in the U.S. Army Air Corps required the family to move frequently, and Betty spent portions of her childhood in the Philippines, New Mexico, Alabama and Ohio. However, some of her favorite childhood memories were when her father was stationed at Chrissy Field in San Francisco.
Hollister resident Ruth C. Parker passed away March 24th, 2010, at the Gilroy Health Care Center at the age of 88 years. Ruth was a native of San Diego, CA but has been a resident of San Benito County for the last 65 years. She and her late husband David Parker farmed their 400 acre ranch in Tres Pinos with assorted tree crops as well as raised cattle and sheep. David died June 9, 2003, just short of their 62nd wedding anniversary. Ruth and David built the 5th home at Ridgemark Golf and Country Club where they both enjoyed golf activities. Ruth has been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollister since 1945 and enjoyed serving her church through an active part in the church's many activities. Family, family activities, barbeques, family outings, brought special joy into her life, especially being with her grandchildren. Aerobic swimming and sewing also were among her interests.
Margaret J. Wentworth passed away peacefully in Manteca March 21,2010 and went to join the Lord with her loving family at her side. Margaret was born October 15,1919, lived 90 wonderful years. Margaret was a long-time resident of Gilroy and lived the last four years in Manteca to be near her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Everett Wentworth for 69 years. Loving mother of Rick and daughter-in-law Judy Wentworth, Pamela and son-in-law Ambrose Manikowski, and John Wentworth who died in Viet Nam. Adored grandmother of Kevin (Diane) Wentworth, Kristen (Mark) Condit, Mia Costa, and August (Melanie) Costa. Affectionately known as GG, dear great-grandmother to Makenna, Karson, Tyler, Giovanni, and Grant. Nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends also survive her.
Rebecca Ann Kaiser ended her six-year battle against cancer and now resides with the Lord. She defied all odds in her silent battle against cancer. She fought the good fight and never gave up. She loved her friends and family with all her heart, and in return she was deeply loved.
