The Gilroy and Live Oak field hockey teams met for the second time this season, but the result was much the same. 

The Christopher and Gilroy golf teams finished their seasons among the league's best Monday. 

Things are getting any easier for the Gilroy girls soccer team.

Schools from the Monterey Bay and Blossom Valley Athletic leagues will partner with Positive Coaching Alliance for a series of workshops funded by a $100,000 grant from the Peery Foundation to PCA, according to a PCA news release.

Taylor Slattery, Samantha Gonzalez and Jackie Gomez each scored to lift Gilroy High’s girls soccer team to a 3-0 win at Salinas on Tuesday.

Gilroy High School is looking for a football announcer for the upcoming season. 

Justin Hale pitched a five-inning shutout and Ron Reed went 3-for-4 to lead Gilroy High’s baseball team to a 10-0 win at Alisal on Monday.
