Josephine C. Figueroa of San Juan Bautista passed away Tuesday morning in San Jose at the age of 68. She was born in San Bernardino, CA and came to San Benito County 58 years ago. She was a member of Old Mission San Juan Bta. She was the sister of Natividad Figueroa, Mary Angulo, and Chris Figueroa, aunt of Lisa DuBois, Robert DuBois, Sylvia Gamboa, Roseanna DuBois, Steven, Carlos, and Terri Figueroa and Raymunda Landeros. Also survived by additional nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and an uncle.

Helen passed away at Mabie Skilled Nursing Center Southside on Tuesday, December 18th at the age of 95 years. Helen was a native of Hollister. She is survived by her daughters Rena Dolores Nunez, husband Bill; Nancy Atkins; and son Robert Quejada, spouse Margaret. Also by 6 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Helen was a 5th generation Californian and the last of 3 siblings in her family. In conforming with her wishes, arrangements were made for cremation and inurnment followed by private committal services at 1:00 P.M. yesterday at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Officiating was Fr. Rudy Ruiz from Sacred Heart Church.
