Betty K. Scagliotti

After winning a courageous battle against cancer 13 years ago our beloved wife, mother, and friend Betty Scagliotti passed away peacefully on December 28, 2008. A life long resident of Hollister, Betty is survived by her husband of 51 years Jerry, and her two sons Rob (Sharyn, John, and Samantha), and Tim all of Hollister. She is survived by her sisters Helen McKnown (Wayne) and June Dovin (late Bob) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Mary Banks and Margaret Ramsey. Betty leaves behind many friends who loved and admired her strength, courage, and love of life. Betty was a charter member of the Y.L.I., Sacred Heart Mother's Club, and the Los Rojos Sombreros. As a active member of each, her participation was appreciated. She was last employed at Ladd Hardware where her smile and personality made her a favorite with customers and co-workers. Betty's zest for life and bright smile touched all who knew and loved her.
