Mary Louise Miller, age 76, born in Portland, OR on Aug. 16, 1933 and past away peacefully at home on Sept. 8, 2009 in Gilroy, CA. She was the beloved wife of the late Russel Miller. Loving mother of Linda Hyer. Cherished grandmother of Dustin, Melissa and Andrew Hyer. Dear sister of Harold Lieb and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Dominica T. Gonzales

Dominica T. Gonzales passed away at O'Connor Hospital Wednesday Sept. 9th, 2009, after a brief illness at the age of 77 years. Dominica was a native of Hollister, had graduated from Sacred Heart Convent, San Benito High School, Gavilan College and received her Bachelors Degree from San Jose State. A homemaker all her life, she also had worked for Hollister Canning Co. as well at the Hollister School District from which she had retired in 1990. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and was an avid supporter of the parish bingo night. She enjoyed her bus trips with her friends to Lake Tahoe and Reno. She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph Gonzales, her two children David and Adela Costa, her brothers Cipriano (C.P.) Garcia, Marion and Anthony Garcia, Charlie and Leo Yuste. Surviving are her son Joseph Gonzales Jr. and his fiance Theresa Thompson with whom Dominica spent some very positive time the last few months of her life. Her grandchildren Amanda and Samantha Gonzales of Berkeley; her sister Inez Martin of Hollister, and many nieces and nephews also survive.
