Katherine (Kay) Davis passed away September 5, 2009, at her home in San Diego surrounded by her family. Kay was born and raised in San Francisco and is survived by: daughter Marian (Mike) Casey, Pam (Fred) Thrasher, brother Al (Kiki) Kasnestis, and sister-in-law Tulla Kasnestis. Kay had five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who she adored. She was preceded in death by parents John and Mary Kasnestis, her husband Paul Davis, and by siblings James Kasnestis and Johanna Troutman. In 1959, she and her husband Paul relocated to Gilroy where they owned and operated P.D. Farm Egg Co. until retirement in 1976. Kay was an active member in Women in Touch and the Gilroy Senior Citizens. Her family was her life and in 2005 she moved to San Diego, surrounded by many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kay leaves a legacy of finding only the good in people and putting a positive spin on every situation. Her motto was, "Everything will be fine, honey."
