Solar panels go up at Valley Health Center
How's this for a bright idea? Workers are in the midst of installing more than 3,000 solar panels at a Gilroy health clinic, in a move expected to save the facility more than $600,000 in energy costs over the next two decades, county officials said.
City wins MediLeaf appeal
GILROY - More than two years after a Gilroy medical marijuana dispensary was shut down for operating without a business license, a state appellate court has ruled that city officials were in the right by declaring it a "public nuisance" despite prolonged objections by the club's owners.

Red Phone: Didn’t receive a county tax bill
"The reason I'm calling is to let people know about their taxes. I did not get my tax bill from the county. I got a phone call from someone who knew me. It was put in their envelope with their tax thing. I feel that this could happen to someone else in Gilroy and they should know about it and know who to call. Their phone number is 808-7900. It is the county's fault, not yours."
