ANNIVERSARY: Youngs celebrate 25 years: Morgan Hill's Ken and Angela Young still fit in their wedding attire 25 years later on their anniversary – Oct. 24, 2012.

“A Tuna Christmas” is coming to the Gilroy Center for the Arts this month and you don't want to miss it! Watching Kevin Heath and Bill Tindall portray 22 different wacky characters, you will be delightfully entertained. But there is much more to this performance than simply an enjoyable introduction to the holiday season.

Lars is a Labrador retriever/pit bull mix. He is sweet, playful, loves to run and knows commands. He has been at the San Martin Animal Shelter since early August and would love to find a forever home. Jorge Briones, the former Morgan Hill Downtown Association executive director who is accused of embezzling funds from the nonprofit organization, is scheduled to be arraigned Friday, Dec. 21 at the South County Courthouse in Morgan Hill, according to authorities.

Twice a year the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holds conferences for local members. These important meetings include items of business (like approving appointments and changes in leadership), announcing news items and presenting inspirational messages.  

The days of summer fun are over at the wineries. All the grapes have been picked and crushed and their juice is getting busy in the barrels - letting the aging process take over. But, before the season is over, Mother Nature has one last spectacular act in store for us. Like the last five minutes of a fireworks display where the best is saved for last, the vineyards have burst into flaming colors of red, gold and orange. As if to self-ignite themselves, the leaves that have nourished the grapes all summer long, are going out in a blaze of glory.
