Police arrested a 39-year-old Morgan Hill man on suspicion of molesting a child family member last week, according to a press release from Morgan Hill Police. 

In the Morgan Hill Police Department’s ongoing undercover “shoulder tap” operation to crack down on adults who might purchase alcohol for those underage, officers arrested a suspect for doing just that last month. 

The Pet Friends 5th Annual WagnWalk fundraiser is coming up, on June 22nd, 2013. It will be held at the Granite Rock Southside Quarry, in conjunction with the Granite Rock Open House there. Chose either the 5K run for two-legged competitors, or the 5k walk with or without your four-legged friend. Sweetie-pie says he'll be there, probably with his buddy Sammy. Powder is available for adoption at Pet Friends. He is an older Flame-point Siamese cat, but he's not the talker that many Siamese cats are. He's kind of shy at first, but does warm up to people he is familiar withand loves a neck rub. He's usually relaxing on a cat tree in the cat room at Pet Friends; but would love to have a sunny spot at a home of his own. Santa Clara County Library District kicked off their summer reading program June 1, which encourages people of all ages to read for pleasure during the lazy, hot months of June, July and August.
