String of arrests reported in area of Condit Road hotels

Morgan Hill Police arrested five people in a series of unrelated incidents in and around a string of hotels on Condit Road in Morgan Hill over the last week, according to a press release. The most recent arrest was that of Cyrenna Herrera, 30 of San Jose, at the Quality Inn, 16525 Condit Road. Herrera was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of narcotics, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant, according to Morgan Hill Police.On Wednesday, police arrested Ray Baca, 43 of San Jose, during a probation search at the Executive Inn, 16505 Condit Road. Baca was arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, police said. On Tuesday, police stopped a vehicle on Condit Road for a traffic violation and encountered two uncooperative occupants, police said. When officers contacted the two people in the vehicle, one of them - John Borra of Salinas - ran away on foot. Police did not catch up to him. The other occupant of the vehicle - Rosemary Hill, 20 of Salinas - was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer, police said. Later the same day, officers located a stolen vehicle parked at the Executive Inn, police said. The vehicle was associated to a room at the hotel, and police contacted the occupants of the room. Arrested were Ami Roberts, 37 of Morgan Hill, on multiple felony warrants, and Alisa Suniga, 18 of Morgan Hill, on suspicion of possession of stolen property. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Morgan Hill Police at (408) 779-2101, or the anonymous tip line at (408) 947-7867.

A 47-year-old Gilroy man is wanted for felony domestic violence and false imprisonment, according to a report from the Morgan Hill Police Department.

Community Solutions’ annual play will address violence against women, children
